Quick Celebrity Couple Gossip

Here's some quick celebrity gossip:

• So my favorite couple (I love to hate on) Kanye West and Miss Amber Rose have split up. I've heard this rumor for awhile but ignored it, but I think this time it's for real. I'll miss Amber.....(rolling my eyes). Anywhoo, the gossip going around is that Kanye is now with Rihanna. We've heard this rumor before and now that they've been spending time together working on new material for her and her making an appearance in his new video for "Paranoid" the rumors have been intensified. I actually think they make a cute couple although honestly he needs to be with someone older.
  
• I haven't really posted anything on up and coming rapper Drake but he's recently been linked with Rihanna, Bria Myles, and now Teyanna Taylor. I honestly don't see the fascination with Drake but perhaps he will grow on me. If him and Teyanna Taylor are really together, good for them. Both need the publicity.
  
• I said I wasn't going to comment on this, but did ya'll see the season premiere of Jon and Kate Plus Eight? WHOA, it was kinda intense. I feel really bad for them and how their business was aired out on tv. However, it kinda seems like Kate didn't mind too much. Here's my brief assessment: The problem with their marriage didn't really seem like infidelity. It seemed like Jon was sick of doing the show, sick of not being able to work, and sick of Kate. I felt kinda bad for him, although I wish he would have explicitly apologized to Kate. They both repeatedly said that their "family" was important to them but never really said anything nice or loving about each other. Seems like these two are heading for divorce.
  

Met Costume Gala

Here are some pics of last night's The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 4th in New York City. Umm....where are the costumes?
Here is Kanye and Amber! Oh how cute! (rolling eyes...) I thought they had broken up? I have to admit I love her dress. The first pic doesn't really show off how nice the fabric and texture is. The second one is a little better. And when is Amber going to start growing in her hair? And more importantly, why is Kanye not wearing any socks?
Here is Ciara. I'm so sick of that long phony pony! She needs to give it a rest and let it stay in the drawer at home. I don't really like her dress either. The bottom is a tad matronly.
The front view is even worse. Try again! FYI. Her new album is in stores today. Don't bother buying it...
Here is Rihanna with some interesting attire on. I've been reading other blogs who are praising her on how fashion forward this outfit is. Now you know if anyone else showed up looking like this everyone would be talking about how tacky it is. That jacket has got to go! What's up with her pigeon-toe stance?
Of course this is Tyra Banks. I can't say I love or hate her dress. It just is what it is. She better be careful that her stalker doesn't show up. Although he was convicted he's not getting any jail time just some counseling. Girl, be careful!

Hilarious!

I already posted the ending clip from the last South Park episode featuring Kanye West. Well, I go over to iThug's blog and his latest post has the full version of "Gay Fish." I downloaded it and it is hilarious! I was dying! So here, I'm going to share it with you (and keep in mind it's NSFW).

Here's something to get you dancing to! This song is called "I'm the Sh*t" from DJ Class featuring (my man) Kanye West and coincidently it's my sh*t right now. Definitely not suitable for listening to at work for obvious reasons. But it has that club/house music beat that will get you dancing. I have to put my speakers up full blast when I listen to this.

Concert Pics: SXSW

Here are some pics from the South by Southwest festival concert. Kanye showed up with Amber of course.....she's still on my good side as of right now. What's up with her and the denim though?
Janelle Monae also performed. I love that girl. Her style is cute. I wish she would put out another album and get a little more exposure. More people should know her name by now.

Leave My Man Alone

Remember that incident back in September when Kanye got into a scuffle/semi fight with some photographers/paparazzi at LAX? Well, he's been charged with three misdemeanor counts of vandalism, grand theft, and battery. If convicted, he could face up to 2 and half years in jail (not likely). His court date is April 14th.

I know one thing, they bests to leave my man alone! Grand theft? Vandalism? Naw. Not my Kanye. If anything, they provoked him! Even though we know my man can get real hood in a flash (remember Punk'd?), the paparazzi are always asking for trouble. I'll have to review the tape of the incident again to decide. But we know Kanye's not going to jail for anything so it really doesn't matter.

Confirmed in My Eyes

Okay so does anybody remember last year when blogger Marcus Troy revealed that he was Kanye West's ghost writer? I was super perplexed by that because why on earth would anyone want to admit that they write some of the lamest rhymes in the game? Kanye's lines are pretty weak and we always give him a free pass because he's a great producer. When this Marcus person stepped up, I kinda dismissed it. Well, the above pic is Marcus with the new Nike Air Yeezy (Kanye's new hideous shoe) that hasn't even come out yet. Hmmmm.....well this clearly is a present from (my man) Kanye. So this has pretty much confirmed to me that Marcus is indeed his ghost writer. Perhaps I'm wrong and jumping to conclusions but whatever. I'm sticking to this inference.

Don Diva

In a previous post I warned Amber Rose that she had three chances to impress me and that would determine if I gave her "Bad Bish" title back. She gave me two solid outfits and I've been anxiously waiting for a third that was gonna make or break her. Well here it is. I present to you.... "Bad bish #1, the don diva.....Amber Rose!" For some reason I can't get enough of this girl. She's beyond intriguing. Sometimes you just wanna reject her as a stanky stripper who's using (my man) Kanye for his dough. Other times it seems that he's made a good choice and that she's beyond chic and compliments his swag to the t. I still haven't totally made up my mind about her but she's been impressing me in the fashion and looks department. Forget what other people say, I think she's gorgeous. She has a killer smile. I'm still refusing to call them "Kamber" though. They haven't reach that conjoined named status with me yet.

Two in a Row

I said before that I wasn't going to do any more posts about Amber Rose. But she just won't go away/ get off of my man.

Here they are at such-and-such fashion week with black coordinating outfits. I admit that she has a body to die for, but I refuse to give her more than that. The title I bestowed upon her of "Bad Bish #1" has not been re-appointed by me yet. She has to give me three fierce outfits in a row for me to give it back. So far she has two in a row. Let's see if she makes it to three...

Redeemed

I promised myself I wouldn't do another Kanye and Amber Rose post. However, after seeing these pics of them at Paris Fashion Week it seems like Amber Rose has redeemed herself from her fashion faux pas last week.

Minus the sunglasses with the wack glasses-holder straps, I'm digging her outfit. That jacket is fierce and paired with the black pencil skirt, and cute black shoes, she's back on good terms with me. I've also started wearing what I shall now call the "Amber Rose shade" lipstick personally. It suits her well (as it does me!).

Okay Amber. You've done well. Don't mess it up.

CHI-TOWN stand up! I love me some Kanye. People call him arrogant and cocky but he is the epitome of panache-n-posh! So Kanye is my boo. You can't tell me nothin'!

In my mind, Kanye is my man, so of course it was to my dismay that he has a new "model" chick: Amber Rose. For a second I was upset and distressed....but I have to give it to her.....this is one bad bish!!! I mean I wouldn't call her a "model" (from my understanding models tend to model clothes) but she is definitely a compliment to my man's swag.

I ain't too worried about her though. It's quite obvious she's an accessory. Like Kanye's fashion, she's just a phase.
