I've been really slackin with this blog but I'll try to get it together soon. Here's some music news that has been accumulating that I'll share with everyone else.

• Chrisette Michele has the number one album in the country! Yayyy!!!! Love her. Get that album! Did you know the day it was released you could have gotten a mp3 download of the album from Amazon for only $2.99?!
• Ciara's album came in at number 3 with only 81,000 copies sold in the first week. WOMP! FYI: Keri Hilson's album did 94,000 in the first week. DOUBLE WOMP!
• Amerie, The Dream, Mariah Carey, and Toni Braxton are all working in the studio for new releases in the near future.
• Jennifer Lopez is coming out with a greatest hits album soon.....yeah I know: "Greatest hits?" Whatever, let her do what she does.....
• Don't forget that LeToya Luckett's album should be coming out in late June! Her last album is one of my favs on my iPod.
• Beyonce is re-releasing her album with a video discography and two new singles will be coming out (perhaps Ego (remix) and Sweet Dreams/Beautiful Nightmare?)
• Lil' Kim's new album "Vintage" will be coming out late August/September. Can't wait! (And I'm still mad she got booted off Dancing With the Stars)
  

Quick Music Update

Quite honestly, there is nothing really going on as far as music lately. Everything that has been leaking on the internet pretty much sucks and you guys know I don't waste my money buying music. Here's some brief music "news" which has no real relevance:

• Keri Hilson's album sold a little over 90,000 copies its first week coming in at #4 on the charts. A lot of people are praising this because of all the setbacks her album had as far as being released. Personally, I think this proves further that she sucks. Once again, you ain't neva gonna be Beyoncé!
• I've heard some really ridiculous rumors lately about Kelly Rowland. Like I said earlier, she did get dropped from Columbia. I know they both released statements saying it was mutually decision ya-di-yah....but whatever, she was dropped. Her being on suicide watch on all this other mess is ridiculous. She has a new reality show premiering on Bravo in early May called "The Fashion Show." She'll be a co-host and judge.
  
• Mariah will be coming out with a new album soon and I can't wait. E=MC2 was a little bit of a disappointment to me. Hopefully, this new album will bring back the Emancipation of Mimi/Butterfly Mariah back.
  
• I'm really looking forward to Chrisette Michelle's album coming out May 5th. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Ciara's. I don't know. I'm just not really a fan of hers. But we'll see, maybe she'll surprise me and her album will live up to the hype.
  
• Beyonce's "I Am...Tour" has been getting rave reviews. However, her tour dates have been scheduled up until the end of June so far and there still hasn't been a date announced for Chicago yet.
  

Somebody Needs Platform Shoes...

LOL! I knew Jermaine Dupri was short....but umm wow. He's standing on a couch and is only a few inches taller than Keri Hilson. Hilarious! And his head looks unusually large in this pic. His head is definitely abnormal.

This pic was taken at her Atlanta album release party. Word is she wanted to be a diva and arrived at her own party around midnight. Some nerve she got..... I'd put up more pics but honestly, there aren't too many other celebrities who showed up unless you wanted to count Lil' Scrappy and Princess (or is it Diamond?)

I guess this is upgrade from her CD signing at none other than Wet Seal clothing store. At first I thought it was a joke but she was def up there signing her CDs.

b) Wet Seal? how lame. at least hop skip down to Forever 21!
