Met Costume Gala

Here are some pics of last night's The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 4th in New York City. Umm....where are the costumes?
Here is Kanye and Amber! Oh how cute! (rolling eyes...) I thought they had broken up? I have to admit I love her dress. The first pic doesn't really show off how nice the fabric and texture is. The second one is a little better. And when is Amber going to start growing in her hair? And more importantly, why is Kanye not wearing any socks?
Here is Ciara. I'm so sick of that long phony pony! She needs to give it a rest and let it stay in the drawer at home. I don't really like her dress either. The bottom is a tad matronly.
The front view is even worse. Try again! FYI. Her new album is in stores today. Don't bother buying it...
Here is Rihanna with some interesting attire on. I've been reading other blogs who are praising her on how fashion forward this outfit is. Now you know if anyone else showed up looking like this everyone would be talking about how tacky it is. That jacket has got to go! What's up with her pigeon-toe stance?
Of course this is Tyra Banks. I can't say I love or hate her dress. It just is what it is. She better be careful that her stalker doesn't show up. Although he was convicted he's not getting any jail time just some counseling. Girl, be careful!

Celebrity Gossip

Here's some random celebrity gossip:

• Jennifer Hudson and her fiancée Punk have set a wedding date. I'm happy for her. Despite his stint on reality tv, Punk (real name David) is a smart guy who went to U of I and then got his law degree from Harvard. They are a really cute couple and he seems really good for her.
  
• Isaiah Washington is getting evicted! I'm sure some people are just enjoying this after some of the remarks that the former "Grey's Anatomy" star said. He definitely lost cool points in my book for that mess. Anyways, he's been forced to move out because he's been behind on his payments.
  
• This is old news by now but I never really said anything about it: TI has been sentenced to a year and a day in jail. I'm sure he'll get out early on good behavior. Hopefully this fool has learned his lesson.
  
• Lil' Scrappy has signed to DTP. Why I'm writing on this I don't know...
• Rumor has it that Mary J. Blige has started drinking again. I really don't believe this mess. She seems to have had it together for a really long time now. People always want to start stuff.
• Method Man got his car repossessed for not paying taxes to the IRS. He owes a lot of money and this fool has been getting notices from them since 2002! Wow.

Okay, so I've been hearing a lot about this new Ciara video for her duet with Justin Timberlake called "Love, Sex, and Magic." I'm soooo not a Ciara fan for multiple reasons, and when I first heard the single I hated it. Looking at other blogs, some people say it a super hot video and other people say it's down right trashy. I was preparing myself to hate this video, and Ciara, and call it lewd and distasteful.

However, I think this video is really classy, beyond hot, and it makes me like the song 10 times more.

It is a lil unsuitable for work though, so you might not want to hit that play button until after 5 PM....
