New Jersey Style
0 comments
So I watched the first season of Real Housewives of Orange County, both seasons of Real Housewives of New York, Real Housewives of Atlanta (new season coming soon!), and now Bravo has come up with Real Housewives of New Jersey. Basically the show is real stereotypical: thick New Jersey accents, big Italian family, and really loud and abrasive women. I can't imagine any of the women being my "favorite" of the show. However, from the preview it seems that there is a huge blow-up at the end between the women that is gonna make for MUST-SEE tv. So I'll tune in from time to time.

That's What You Get

LOL! So LuAnn (above) off of the Real Housewives of New York is getting a divorce from her husband the Count. Honestly, for being as pretentious and annoying as she is, she kinda deserves this (i know that sounds bad). Apparently the Count cheated on her with this Ethiopian (random!) woman and is filing to divorce LuAnn. I actually feel kinda bad for her; then again, LuAnn was his fourth wife. She should have known he wasn't a great husband. Plus, he's one of the spouses that is rarely on the show. He's always on "business." Hee hee hee. I'm sure he was....
Also, I can't stand this new "housewife" Kelly. She's basically crazy. Straight looney tunes. The way she treated Bethany was totally uncalled for. I'm surprised Bethany didn't smack her up and down. Nevertheless, I'll continue to watch the show until my anxiously awaited Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2 starts in the fall.

Umm News?

A little news from the former members of Xscape: Tiny has finally opened her nail salon! Yayyyy!!!! Just playin....I don't even know why I'm posting this. I just think it's funny that Tiny's trying to have a classy and sophisticated type establishment when she always looks a hot mess. Apparently the "nail bar" will offer manicures, pedicures, massages, tanning (wtf?) and other services....
Kandi wants to set the record straight and let everybody know that she did not buy her own engagement ring. Apparently, she's engaged and will marry her fiancée on episode 2 of Real Housewives of Atlanta that will premiere this fall. I know nothing about this guy so I'm anxious to watch to see what he's all about.
LOL. I wonder if Kandi will hit up Tiny's nail salon in one of the episodes...

I Thought You Had to Be Married to be a Housewife

Kandi has written songs for Mariah Carey, N Sync, Destiny's Child ("Bills, Bills, Bills"), TLC ("No Scrubs"), Boys II Men, Alicia Keys, and Faith Evans. She also discovered Jagged Edge. With best friends like Tiny, Rasheeda (pictured with Kandi), and Toya (Lil' Wayne's BM) this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta should be just as entertaining as the last.
I'm super perplexed about how half of these women on the show don't actually have husbands...but whatever, I'll still watch.
