The-Dream "Can't Wait to Hate You"

So here is a demo track that The-Dream did called "Can't Wait To Hate You." It was supposedly for Mariah, but her second single entitled "H.A.T.E.U." is definitely not the same song from what I've heard. Nonetheless, this song has kinda grown on me. Partly because it encapsulates what I think everyone feels when they go through a painful breakup. You want to hate that person, but for some reason you still love them! I think we can all relate to this song. However, take some advice from me: the real way you move on from someone isn't hate; it's indifference. Remember that.

No More Vibe Magazine

It's a wrap for Vibe magazine. The urban music magazine has been in circulation since 1993, but due to the recession it's last issue will hit newstands soon. The hot mess pictured above is none other than Christina Milian topless with The-Dream covering up her goods with his hands. Yeah, basically some real tacky type ish. I'm so tired of these two. It would have been nice to have Michael up there instead.

Quickie Celebrity Gossip

Hey All! I know my updates have been scarce but here's some celebrity news that caught my eye this weekend:

• Reportedly Christina Milian and The-Dream are in fact engaged and actually confirmed it themselves. I thought they hinted to this months ago? Actually, who cares? I need to drop my two sense here and say that this is not a good look for Christina Milian. This relationship looks pretty fake (like her hair) and strictly for publicity (like her hair). The girl has a good voice so I don't know why she's going this route.
  
• Rumor is that Kimora Lee Simmons had a baby boy sometime this weekend. Not sure if that's totally accurate but if it is it squashes those rumors that she was going to have twin boys. I know that baby is going to be too cute!
• UPDATE: Kimora did have the baby yesterday morning. Peep the pic that she posted via her twitter page above :)
  
• Sure you know this already but Rihanna is scheduled to testify against Chris Brown on June 22nd. Why are we all highly anticipating this mess? I just wanna know if she's gonna keep it real or tone down the story for Chris' sake.
  

Music News

I've been really slackin with this blog but I'll try to get it together soon. Here's some music news that has been accumulating that I'll share with everyone else.

• Chrisette Michele has the number one album in the country! Yayyy!!!! Love her. Get that album! Did you know the day it was released you could have gotten a mp3 download of the album from Amazon for only $2.99?!
• Ciara's album came in at number 3 with only 81,000 copies sold in the first week. WOMP! FYI: Keri Hilson's album did 94,000 in the first week. DOUBLE WOMP!
• Amerie, The Dream, Mariah Carey, and Toni Braxton are all working in the studio for new releases in the near future.
• Jennifer Lopez is coming out with a greatest hits album soon.....yeah I know: "Greatest hits?" Whatever, let her do what she does.....
• Don't forget that LeToya Luckett's album should be coming out in late June! Her last album is one of my favs on my iPod.
• Beyonce is re-releasing her album with a video discography and two new singles will be coming out (perhaps Ego (remix) and Sweet Dreams/Beautiful Nightmare?)
• Lil' Kim's new album "Vintage" will be coming out late August/September. Can't wait! (And I'm still mad she got booted off Dancing With the Stars)

Look at these two. They sure are keeping this sham going. I won't make any further comments other than: a) Why does C. Milli look like a fake Amber Rose? and b) Is The-Dream losing some weight?

I said I wasn't going to say anything more about this "couple." So I won't. But all I'll say is that here they are vacationing in Hawaii..... Who knew The-Dream was a member of the itty bitty titty committee? LOL!!!!! Are those A cups or perhaps even B-cups?

New Music

This picture amuses me...
Here's a new pre-summer track by Fabolous featuring The-Dream called "Throw It in the Bag." The track is produced by Tricky Stewart and i guess it's pretty decent. I'm a tad tired of The-Dream but I have been anxious for some new Fabolous. We're going through a mini-drought as far as music for the past couple of months. Hopefully some summer albums will start coming out because I'm tired of listening to the same tracks on my iPod over and over again.

Engaged?

Rumor has it that Christina Milian and The-Dream are engaged. (Anyone who knows my personal life knows that "engaged," "expecting," or "married" aren't good words to say around me). Anywhoo, that's the rumor that just popped up. I think I'll give it some time and find some more sources before I speak on the matter...

UPDATE: Grrr...C. Milli wants to set the record straight and say naw she's not engaged. I don't know why I fell for this trick's bait. She prolly put that rumor out herself.
Note to self: I'm no longer gonna post anything about this "couple."

Hater

Sorry, I just had to post this picture. Here's The-Dream (back when he was Terius Nash) with his wife, Nivea, after they had their baby girl Navy (what kinda name is that?). A year later they had twin boys. Now of course they are divorced, and he's "dating" Christina Milian.

After several listens I actually am 80% feeling this new album from The-Dream. Here is an iTunes bonus track called "Hater" which is definitely growing on me.

However: what's up with the Oprah reference? and how come he couldn't name Katt Williams? Also, check out The-Dream's rapping skills at the 4 minute mark.

Official Couple (rolls eyes)

So it seems as if The-Dream and Christina Milian are now an "official" (still fake to me) couple. Here's the both of them at his album release party last night and I have to say that her hair looks mildly better. I still prefer her with the dark hair and honestly, the blond seems to age her. Well congrats to them if they are official and congrats to Christina for finding another producer she can f---- , I mean ask for tracks.

Love vs Money

Is it me, or is that a terrible album cover? Outfit, pose, sunglasses, mean mug....everything is wrong.

Anywhoo, a lot of people have been hyping up the new The-Dream album that comes out March 10th. It's been floating around the internet for awhile and I finally gave it a listen. Personally, it's okay but definitely not as good as people are saying it is. "Walking on the Moon" is my favorite track off of the album and "Rockin That Thang" and "Kelly's 12 Play" come close behind. I'm also feeling the title track "Love vs Money." Have a listen.

Celebrity Gossip

I love celebrity gossip. Here are a few stories I'd like to share and state my opinion about. For better and more reliable info you should def hit up sites like ConcreteLoop and Necole Bitchie (my personal favorites)....

1. Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly back together
My take: I haven't really been stating my thoughts or opinions about this whole situation. I wasn't in the car with them so I don't know what in the world happened. When I finally saw the photo of Rihanna I was saddened. Now all I can say is she's young, and eventually she'll learn. She's clearly in love and can't see that this fool is a woman beater. Once a woman beater, always a woman beater. Simple as that.

2. Khloe Kardashian & Young Jeezy?
My take: The Kardashian Klan are all attention whores. It's well known that they intentionally send info to bloggers just so they can get stuff written about them. I won't hate on them though; currently they are probably one of the hardest working families in the business. TV Show, boutique, calendars, sex tapes, etc. They been putting in work! Speaking of work....has Kim Kardashian had any work done to her face? She's a cute girl but I feel like lately there's been something different about her.

3. Tyrese is Getting a Divorce and Wifey is asking for a hell of a lot....
I'm not a huge Tyrese fan and I could care less about his personal life, however, when I heard this I was super confused: He currently pays his soon to be ex-wife $5000 a month in support, $2700 for her rent, and $800 a month to pay the lease on her Range Rover. However, that's not enough. She now wants $12,000 a month to cover outfits and jewelry for their daughter, trips to Disney Land and the aquarium monthly, hotels, and first class flights. Apparently she's saying that that's what they're accustomed to now and because she doesn't have a visa (she's from England) she can't work and she needs additional support from him (somethin' to that effect). UPDATE: Wifey got her money! Judge ordered Tyrese to pay her (not the full $12,000 a month though).
My take: that's ridiculous. I think that women have a right to be supported. If you're taking care of the man's child, you should get some money! However, what she's asking for is beyond excessive. What does a 1 year old need with jewelry? You ain't famous...why do you need to fly first class? She's a baby....she can't ride half those rides at Disney Land, let alone remember it! These celebrity wives be killin me. Yeah, he owes you somethin, but don't be a fool and over-do it. And FYI: There are plenty of people w/o visa's who have a job....check around.

4. The-Dream and Christina Milian?
My take: I should have put this up there with Khloe and Jeezy, but I forgot. The-Dream and lil miss Dip It Low have been taking a lot of pics together. Clearly publicity for them both. I can't stand when people try to act like they're together just to stir up publicity. It's so obvious that it's not cute. I used to be a Christina Milian fan but she hasn't been doing much. Speaking of The-Dream, many people don't know that he used to be married to Nivea. I've always been curious what broke that marriage up? Lil' Wayne perhaps? I don't know. Just throwing it out there.

5. Angel Lola Love (or whatever her name is now) the next Lil' Kim?
My take: I've heard a couple tracks from her. Umm. Not impressed. Try again! This time find a better ghost writer. Speaking of Kimmie....check her out on Dancing with the Stars! I can't wait!
