So Rihanna was at her publicist's birthday party the other night. Although I think she looks super fly...why isn't smiling? Maybe these were just random pics. But more importantly, when is this new album coming out? She needs to hurry up. It's amazing to me that she's still so relevant.

Thought I would just inform you of Rihanna's shoes. They are blue suede Christian Louboutin "Rolando" platform pumps. Five inch stiletto heel, crescent toe, and signature red sole.

See I always give Rihanna compliments on her fashion forwardness and then have to take them back the very next day! What on earth is this on top of her head? A doily? For real Rihanna? C'mon on now....at least make it match the shade of the dress. The shoes are cute though.

I Heart Rihanna

I swear. Rihanna is a fashion/hair style force to be reckoned with. Home girl is no joke! Say what you want to say if you're a hater.....but she definitely knows how to turn heads. Here she is at the London premiere of the film "Inglorious Basterds" (yeah....I have no idea either) looking F-I-E-R-C-E. Have you heard the lead single off of Jay-Z's new album? Kanye is on the song plus RiRi is on the hook. I'm not super impressed by it but perhaps it will grow on me. I'll post it soon.

I can't wait for some new music to leak! I've heard a few tracks and wasn't all that impressed, but we'll have to wait and see.

Quickie Celebrity Gossip

Hey All! I know my updates have been scarce but here's some celebrity news that caught my eye this weekend:

• Reportedly Christina Milian and The-Dream are in fact engaged and actually confirmed it themselves. I thought they hinted to this months ago? Actually, who cares? I need to drop my two sense here and say that this is not a good look for Christina Milian. This relationship looks pretty fake (like her hair) and strictly for publicity (like her hair). The girl has a good voice so I don't know why she's going this route.
  
• Rumor is that Kimora Lee Simmons had a baby boy sometime this weekend. Not sure if that's totally accurate but if it is it squashes those rumors that she was going to have twin boys. I know that baby is going to be too cute!
• UPDATE: Kimora did have the baby yesterday morning. Peep the pic that she posted via her twitter page above :)
  
• Sure you know this already but Rihanna is scheduled to testify against Chris Brown on June 22nd. Why are we all highly anticipating this mess? I just wanna know if she's gonna keep it real or tone down the story for Chris' sake.
  

Quick Celebrity Couple Gossip

Here's some quick celebrity gossip:

• So my favorite couple (I love to hate on) Kanye West and Miss Amber Rose have split up. I've heard this rumor for awhile but ignored it, but I think this time it's for real. I'll miss Amber.....(rolling my eyes). Anywhoo, the gossip going around is that Kanye is now with Rihanna. We've heard this rumor before and now that they've been spending time together working on new material for her and her making an appearance in his new video for "Paranoid" the rumors have been intensified. I actually think they make a cute couple although honestly he needs to be with someone older.
  
• I haven't really posted anything on up and coming rapper Drake but he's recently been linked with Rihanna, Bria Myles, and now Teyanna Taylor. I honestly don't see the fascination with Drake but perhaps he will grow on me. If him and Teyanna Taylor are really together, good for them. Both need the publicity.
  
• I said I wasn't going to comment on this, but did ya'll see the season premiere of Jon and Kate Plus Eight? WHOA, it was kinda intense. I feel really bad for them and how their business was aired out on tv. However, it kinda seems like Kate didn't mind too much. Here's my brief assessment: The problem with their marriage didn't really seem like infidelity. It seemed like Jon was sick of doing the show, sick of not being able to work, and sick of Kate. I felt kinda bad for him, although I wish he would have explicitly apologized to Kate. They both repeatedly said that their "family" was important to them but never really said anything nice or loving about each other. Seems like these two are heading for divorce.

So somebody asked me what jacket Rihanna was wearing to LA Reid's Def Jam Spring Collection event last week, so I decided to do a quick post about it. Rihanna is wearing an Ostwald Helgason Cropped Gypsy Print Jacket. It's a cropped multi-colored jacket with square structured shoulders, deep arm holes, contrasting black and white striped fabric and a print with doll faces on it. Get it for $421.

Above are some pics of Rihanna leaving her hotel in New York city with friend/assistant Melissa. Not loving the shorts, but the boots definitely make the outfit. Lately Rihanna has been everywhere and she seems to purposely putting herself out there. Guess this whole Chris Brown situation is not gonna stop her! Random: At the Met event Monday night a paparazzi camera man asked her if Chris Brown was responsible for the swine flu and she managed to crack a smile. LOL.

The second one is a little better. And when is Amber going to start growing in her hair? And more importantly, why is Kanye not wearing any socks?

Rihanna has been looking extra fierce lately. Probably to show everyone that a Chris Brown beat down is not going to stop her swag. Here she is out and about with her assistant, Melissa Ford (not the one you're thinking of). She looks great...

Except for that hair! What's going on? Where's Ursula your hair stylist? Why do you look like you have a Whitney Houston wig on your head? She could have easily slicked it down with some Jam! I hate to say it, but she kinda looks a mess. I'd put a "You Look a Mess" tag on this post, but I'm giving RiRi a freebie today. Just don't let it happen again...

New tattoos? Possible a new mansion? Hopefully, she'll get a new man to match. The latest is that Rihanna came to her senses and kicked Chris Brown to the curb. I'm happy for her, but who knows what's really going on. I hope she finds someone new and is happy. She's too pretty to always have a sad look on her face :(

I Don't Get It

So apparently they are going to do a remake of "The Bodyguard" and Rihanna is going to play Whitney Houston's character. I'm hoping this is just a lame rumor. The original movie wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either and it was made not that long ago. Why remake it? That's my pet peeve. Constantly remaking stuff instead of trying to be original and creative.

And is Rihanna going to sing "I Will Always Love You"? I hope the hell not.

Speaking of Herve Leger, no one can rock one of his bandage dresses better than Rihanna. Here are some throw back pics (pre-beat down) that show her showing off her gorgeous legs. The thing I like about Rihanna the most is her style. I rarely see her looking terrible and she's made very few fashion missteps. Get 'em RiRi!

Real Sad Situation

Well Chris Brown was finally charged today with two felony counts: one for assault and one for criminal threats. Honestly, he'll probably only get probation, especially if Rihanna doesn't testify against him. This is a really sad situation that I have refrained from commenting on.

I will say this though--it's sad that a couple this young and talented has to go through this drama. Chris Brown should not be beating up on women. If he had any common sense and cared for his career he wouldn't have done it. Plus, no man should hit a woman. Period. Rihanna is young and dumb as well. Like I said in an earlier post, once a woman beater, always a woman beater. Simple as that. Her taking him back is not a good look. But she'll learn.

That's all I'm gonna say about that. I take domestic violence really seriously and it's sad that this is going to tarnish both of their images. A lot of people love Rihanna, so she'll bounce back. Chris Brown on the other hand needs to go back to school, get an education and learn how to survive in the real world because his career is done.

Celebrity Gossip

I love celebrity gossip. Here are a few stories I'd like to share and state my opinion about. For better and more reliable info you should def hit up sites like ConcreteLoop and Necole Bitchie (my personal favorites)....

1. Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly back together
My take: I haven't really been stating my thoughts or opinions about this whole situation. I wasn't in the car with them so I don't know what in the world happened. When I finally saw the photo of Rihanna I was saddened. Now all I can say is she's young, and eventually she'll learn. She's clearly in love and can't see that this fool is a woman beater. Once a woman beater, always a woman beater. Simple as that.

2. Khloe Kardashian & Young Jeezy?
My take: The Kardashian Klan are all attention whores. It's well known that they intentionally send info to bloggers just so they can get stuff written about them. I won't hate on them though; currently they are probably one of the hardest working families in the business. TV Show, boutique, calendars, sex tapes, etc. They been putting in work! Speaking of work....has Kim Kardashian had any work done to her face? She's a cute girl but I feel like lately there's been something different about her.

3. Tyrese is Getting a Divorce and Wifey is asking for a hell of a lot....
I'm not a huge Tyrese fan and I could care less about his personal life, however, when I heard this I was super confused: He currently pays his soon to be ex-wife $5000 a month in support, $2700 for her rent, and $800 a month to pay the lease on her Range Rover. However, that's not enough. She now wants $12,000 a month to cover outfits and jewelry for their daughter, trips to Disney Land and the aquarium monthly, hotels, and first class flights. Apparently she's saying that that's what they're accustomed to now and because she doesn't have a visa (she's from England) she can't work and she needs additional support from him (somethin' to that effect). UPDATE: Wifey got her money! Judge ordered Tyrese to pay her (not the full $12,000 a month though).
My take: that's ridiculous. I think that women have a right to be supported. If you're taking care of the man's child, you should get some money! However, what she's asking for is beyond excessive. What does a 1 year old need with jewelry? You ain't famous...why do you need to fly first class? She's a baby....she can't ride half those rides at Disney Land, let alone remember it! These celebrity wives be killin me. Yeah, he owes you somethin, but don't be a fool and over-do it. And FYI: There are plenty of people w/o visa's who have a job....check around.

4. The-Dream and Christina Milian?
My take: I should have put this up there with Khloe and Jeezy, but I forgot. The-Dream and lil miss Dip It Low have been taking a lot of pics together. Clearly publicity for them both. I can't stand when people try to act like they're together just to stir up publicity. It's so obvious that it's not cute. I used to be a Christina Milian fan but she hasn't been doing much. Speaking of The-Dream, many people don't know that he used to be married to Nivea. I've always been curious what broke that marriage up? Lil' Wayne perhaps? I don't know. Just throwing it out there.

5. Angel Lola Love (or whatever her name is now) the next Lil' Kim?
My take: I've heard a couple tracks from her. Umm. Not impressed. Try again! This time find a better ghost writer. Speaking of Kimmie....check her out on Dancing with the Stars! I can't wait!
