I Thought You Had to Be Married to be a Housewife

So apparently, singer/songwriter Kandi, former member of R&B group Xscape, is going to be the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She's going to replace DeShawn Snow (I actually liked her).

Kandi has written songs for Mariah Carey, N Sync, Destiny's Child ("Bills, Bills, Bills"), TLC ("No Scrubs"), Boys II Men, Alicia Keys, and Faith Evans. She also discovered Jagged Edge. With best friends like Tiny, Rasheeda (pictured with Kandi), and Toya (Lil' Wayne's BM) this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta should be just as entertaining as the last.

I'm super perplexed about how half of these women on the show don't actually have husbands...but whatever, I'll still watch.
