Spring Break

Well it's Spring Break for me and instead of being in Miami or some other place where I could be in the sun having fun--I am in my dorm room. I have a ton of work I need to be doing (homework, studying for midterms, filling out these philosophy conference applications, finishing my taxes) but instead I am sleeping, eating, and watching Maury and Bad Girls Club.

Mentally, I needed this break. I have been going through a rough couple of weeks and I needed to just chill out. Be by myself. Do what I want. But I really wished I would have planned a trip or something. I haven't been anywhere outside of the Chicago-land area since 2005! I'm a traveler at heart, so maybe that's why I constantly feel like my life is unbelievably boring.

I keep getting these Expedia deals in my email inbox. Maybe it's a sign.
